The Quixote's Market

A few days ago I spoke in this blog about the "Cervantine Week", a event in honour of the very important writer Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra in his natal city, Alcalá de Henares. The called "Complutensis City" organizes in these days one of the biggest medieval fairs in Spain.

It's an excellent opportunity for every photographer. By one hand, the city wears medieval clothes, so it's a very special scenery to take pictures.

By other hand, there are a lot of interesting activities. Interesting to live, interesting to take pictures about them. There are people with medieval roles who interacting with the public.

There are exhibitions of birds of prey.

There are a lot of gastronomic stands.

And there are several kinds of craftsmen.

It's one of my favourites events. You can see the complete gallery clicking here.
