Landscapes and macros in "Los Cerros"

As you could read in "Planning", yesterday I'd planned  go to the natural park "Los Cerros", in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid - Spain). My goals were to take pictures of natural landscapes and insect's macros.

The principal goal was take pictures of "Alcalá la Vieja", the ruins of an old Arab fortification. When I arrived there I didn't like the light conditions :s. I should have planed it before with "The Photographer's Ephemeris". I only took some pictures for make this interactive 360º.

The 360º is made with Dermandar, a very useful and easy free web application. I've processed the photos using HDR techniques (software: qtpfsgui / Luminance HDR). Here you have other pictures of this day:

ISO 100 - F/14 - 1/6 s - 20mm

ISO 100 - F/18 - 1/160 s - 22mm

ISO 100 - F/16 - 1/100 s - 18mm

ISO 100 - F/16 - 1/160 s - 18mm

ISO 100 - F/20 - 1/80 s - 18mm

ISO 100 - F/60 - 1/60 s - 18mm

ISO 100 - F/14 - 1/125 s - 70mm

They were taken with a Nikon D3000 and the kit lens: a Nikkor 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6G AF-S DX VR, except the last one (it was taken with my tele-lens: a Tamron AF 70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1: 2).

I carried the tele-lens, so I also could take photos of wildlife. You can view these photos in La Ventana Salvaje. Here, some samples:

ISO 400 - F/13 - 1/320 s - 300mm

ISO 100 - F/13 - 1/160 s - 300mm (with flash)

ISO 400 - F/13 - 1/400 s - 300mm

Conclusion:

The principal goal was the castle of "Alcalá la Vieja", and I returned at home without good photos of it. I'm thinking about repeat the experience, studying better the light conditions previously... It'll be announced in "Planning" section if I decide do it.

More photos soon :)!
